I threw this mug on the wheel and then carefully added porcelain succulents to the body. This mug is unique, because instead of hand painting it, I used colored porcelain to form the succulents. I added darker accents to the light greens, and violets to the dark greens with underglaze before finishing the whole piece in a clear glossy glaze.
