This mug is a functional sculpture, inspired by magnificent geodes found in nature.  I threw this mug on the wheel, carved the entire surface and applied my hand carved geodes and crystals one by one. I then glazed and fired it in the kiln and accented it in 22k gold.

Holds approximately 14 oz.
