I was inspired to design this planter by the magnificent geodes found in nature.  I threw this pot on the wheel and indented the surface to create the geode slice effect. I then and hand painted it with undulating lines in varying shades of turquoise, fired it in the kiln and accented it in 22k gold. Approximately 5" wide x 3" high. Small drainage hole at the bottom. One of a kind.
