This porcelain vase is a functional sculpture, inspired by the beautiful geodes and crystal formations found in nature. Glazed in contrasting textures, I threw this piece on the wheel and applied my hand carved crystals and accented it in 22k gold. The gray area on this vase is matte representing the rough exterior of the geode. 

Use it to hold flowers or as a diffuser with essential oils.
